The Sleighzy is a piece of furniture that combines the comfort of a beanbag with the elegance of a small sofa. It consists of two main components: a frame made from recycled wooden sled parts and a custom-made beanbag.

All the materials used are second-hand, except for the screws. The beanbag has zips on the cover and on the polystyrene-filled fabric rolls. This makes it easy to add or replace the polystyrene filling with plant-based alternatives such as spelt husks.Small traces of use and discolouration on the sledge wood are deliberately used as visual highlights, making the furniture look as if it has come from a robust and eventful past.

To develop the shape, several sleds were dismantled into individual parts, which were then assembled into a piece of furniture using analogue and then digital methods. This resulted in a number of different designs, which ultimately led to a modular, expandable triangular shape.
