The project was developed as part of "Science Year 2022 - Participate!", funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and was a collaboration between the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT and the Folkwang University of the Arts Essen.

The aim of the project was to develop a science-based guide to micro-expeditions. Micro-expeditions are short, intensive journeys of discovery into the immediate environment for everyone, where people can become more aware of their environment and see the connections between nature and their lifestyles.

Working as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT, I was part of a team of ten that included designers, biologists and sociologists. I support the team with research for the conception of the micro-expedition, as well as with the textual and graphic design of the instruction documents.
